We are excited to announce the General Availability of Tenable Nessus 10.8.0! 

This release includes:

• EPSS Support: The Exploit Prediction Scoring System (EPSS) provides a data-driven method to estimate the likelihood that a software vulnerability will be exploited in the wild. EPSS is a great input for better prioritization of remediation efforts, helping to reduce the risk of exploitation and optimize resource allocation by focusing on the most critical threats. With EPSS support in Nessus, you can see and filter on plugin EPSS scores in the product for vulnerability prioritization purposes.
• CVSSv4 Support: The Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) is a standardized method for evaluating the potential severity and impact of vulnerabilities. With CVSS version 4 support in Nessus, you can see and filter on plugin CVSS v4 scores in the product for vulnerability prioritization purposes.
• Nessus Offline Mode: While Nessus has always been able to be used in air-gapped environments, it still performed some functions that would normally require an internet connection (examples: querying cloud-based management platforms for scan job assignments, querying for plugin updates or software updates, and attempting to send operational telemetry). By enabling Nessus Offline Mode, you can ensure Nessus only runs the services needed to operate in an air-gapped environment and avoid generating unwanted network traffic.
• Declarative Agent Versioning for On-prem: Tenable Security Center customers can now select which version of the agent software they wish their agents to remain on. This is configured on the Nessus Manager.
