Alpine Linux Detection Improvements

Summary

Tenable’s Alpine Linux detections for Container Security with Tenable Cloud Security are being enhanced with a more accurate detection logic.

Change

Tenable’s Alpine Linux detections previously checked for only a single package version. As a result, depending on the version of Alpine Linux, these findings might have lacked context and completeness.

The existing detections will be deprecated and replaced with more accurate detections (with new plugin IDs) that more granularly incorporate the version of Alpine Linux.

Impact

This change only impacts customers of Container Security with Tenable Cloud Security. Alpine Linux findings where plugin ID is less than or equal to 409883 will remediate upon release. New findings, discovered with new plugin IDs, may replace them, if applicable to the scanned systems.
