Audit Warehouse Available on Download Portal

Summary

Customers using Nessus can now update the complete audit warehouse from the download portal at any time. This will update all active and current audit files present in the Nessus installation. This process facilitates updates across multiple scans and is easier than downloading individual audit files. The import of the audit warehouse will also parse audit variables, where available.

Additional Notes

Any deprecated audits in the updated warehouse will be removed from Nessus, similar to what happens when a Nessus upgrade is released. Scans using deprecated audits may be affected.

How to update the Audit Warehouse

1. Download the file titled 'Offline Audit Warehouse' from https://www.tenable.com/downloads/download-all-compliance-audit-files
2. To install the audit warehouse manually using the Nessus user interface or through command line:
   1. Follow the steps to Install Plugins Manually at https://docs.tenable.com/nessus/Content/OfflineInstallPluginsManually.htm
   2. Substitute the Plugins file for the new Audit Warehouse
