Enhanced Oracle Product Enumeration on Unix-based OSes

Nessus Plugin 71642 identifies Oracle product installations on Unix-based platforms. Improvements were made to expand coverage by including more directories in the initial search of the inventory pointer file (“oraInst.loc”).

Impact

Customers should expect more accurate enumeration of Oracle products, potentially resulting in additional vulnerability reports.
