Enhanced Oracle Product Enumeration on Unix-based OSes

Nessus Plugin 71642 identifies Oracle product installations on Unix-based platforms. Improvements were made to expand coverage by supporting multiple Oracle inventories and a different format for components in the BEA registry file. The most notable detection affected by these changes is the Oracle Weblogic Server detection plugin (73913).

Impact

Customers should expect more accurate enumeration of Oracle products, potentially resulting in additional vulnerability reports.
