New FUDO Security PAM Integration

Summary

Tenable is proud to announce integration with the FUDO Security Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution. This integration gathers credentials from the Fudo PAM server to be used for target authentication. The integration will be available in Tenable Vulnerability Management and Nessus Manager, with plans to release this feature in Tenable.sc in the near future. Customers will benefit from streamlined privileged access to use in credentialed vulnerability scans, providing a more comprehensive understanding of their cyber exposure.

Please note that this integration is only compatible with Fudo Enterprise. Fudo ONE is not supported. For more information, please see the Fudo PAM documentation: https://docs.tenable.com/integrations/Fudo/Content/Introduction.htm 

Supported Authentication Types

The Fudo PAM integration can be used as an authentication method with the following credentials:

  • SSH, including least privilege, privilege escalation, and SSH key authentication).
  • SMB (Windows), including domain configuration.
  • Database integration, including the following database types:
    • Oracle
    • SQL Server
    • MySQL
    • MongoDB
    • PostgreSQL
    • DB2
    • Cassandra
    • Sybase ASE
  • VMware vCenter API

Impact

There is no impact to existing scan configurations. Customers with Fudo Enterprise are encouraged to use the integration for credentialed scans.

Target Release Date

3 Feb 2025 for TVM and Nessus, TBD for SC
