Tenable Research has released the WAS Plugins Release Notes to bring more transparency to the WAS plugins feed lifecycle. This new view is located in the Web App Scanning tab on the Plugin Release Notes section on the Tenable Plugins site. It notes the new WAS plugins and updates included in a WAS plugins feed release.

Impact

For each released WAS plugins feed, a Modified Detection section provides the list of the updated WAS plugins and the new WAS plugins are added in a New section. A WAS plugin is noted as modified if its description or its logic has been updated.
