On May 12, Microsoft released fixes for 111 CVEs as part of their Patch Tuesday release. This follows an April release of 113 CVEs and March with 115 CVEs, a continuing trend so far in 2020.

The updates this month include patches for Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Edge, ChakraCore, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Services and Web Apps, Windows Defender, Visual Studio, Microsoft Dynamics, .NET Framework, .NET Core and Power BI.

Microsoft Office products SharePoint and Excel saw patches for several remote code execution (RCE) flaws while Microsoft Windows received updates for denial of service (DoS), elevation of privilege and information disclosure flaws just to name a few.
