NUCLEUS:13: 13 Vulnerabilities Found in Siemens Nucleus TCP/IP Stack
On November 9, Forescout Research published a report called NUCLEUS:13. This research is the fifth report of PROJECT:MEMORIA, an examination of TCP/IP stack security. Previous research includes INFRA:HALT, NAME:WRECK, NUMBER:JACK, AMNESIA:33 and Ripple20.
There were 13 new vulnerabilities discovered in Siemens Nucleus NET, the TCP/IP stack used in Nucleus real-time operating system (RTOS). Impact from these vulnerabilities ranges from remote code execution (RCE), information disclosure and denial-of-service (DoS)..
