Researchers Disclose 33 Vulnerabilities in Open Source TCP/IP Libraries (AMNESIA:33)

On December 8, researchers at Forescout published a report detailing their discovery of 33 vulnerabilities in open source TCP/IP libraries that they call AMNESIA:33. The affected TCP/IP libraries have reportedly been embedded in “millions of devices” across Operational Technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT) and routers and printers.

These vulnerabilities follow in the footsteps of previous disclosures for Ripple20 (19 vulnerabilities) and URGENT/11 (11 vulnerabilities), which like AMNESIA:33, affected millions of devices.
