Zoom Addresses Privacy Issues And Flaws in Windows and macOS Apps
Zoom, the video conferencing application that has seen its daily active users soar to over 200 million, has faced much scrutiny over the last several weeks from the security community and privacy enthusiasts.
From Zoom-bombing and privacy issues stemming from the inclusion of Facebook’s SDK or LinkedIn’s Sales Navigator, to flaws in their Windows client and macOS client and installer, Zoom responded by publishing a blog post penned by its CEO, Eric Yuan on April 1.
On April 2, Zoom released version 4.6.9 of their Windows and macOS clients to deal with some of the security related issues reported by the community.
