Advisement of Technical Limitation for Nessus Professional and Managed Scanners - versions below 8.5.2

Please be advised that Nessus scanners v8.5.1 and earlier have a technical limitation of 2GB for the Plugin database size. As a result, starting 03 MAY 2021, no additional plugin feeds will be released for these legacy versions of Nessus Professional or Managed Scanners.

Impact

Nessus v8.5.2 and newer are not impacted by this technical limitation. We strongly encourage users to upgrade their Nessus scanners to v8.5.2 or newer to continue receiving plugin updates.
