Plugin 45590 reports CPE values for software and hardware identified on the target. The software reported is limited to a subset of those that Nessus has confirmed as a service or through local detection. To better reflect the full software inventory of a target, this plugin will now report an additional 750 software packages, when they can be identified. More software detections will be added as they become available through Nessus.

Impact

If you have developed automated processes based on the output of this plugin, they will show more software installed on the target. The format of the output remains the same.
