Expanded IBM Product Enumeration on Unix-based OSes

Background

Nessus plugin 77028 identifies IBM Installation Manager (IM) on Unix-based operating systems along with the location of the file that contains information about installed packages. Detection of IBM IM is limited to specific Unix-based OSes. 

Nessus plugin 77027 then enumerates IBM products based on the packages file found by Nessus plugin 77028.

Change

Nessus plugin 77028 is being extended to all Unix-based OSes that Nessus supports except macOS.

Impact

Customers should expect more IBM product detections, potentially resulting in additional vulnerability reports.
