Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Unsupported Detection

The Unix Operating System Unsupported Version Detection (33850) is being updated to flag hosts running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) release 7.6 and below. RHEL release 7.7, the final RHEL 7 EUS release, will no longer be supported on August 30, 2021 at which time plugin 33850 will flag hosts running this release.

Impact

Customers should expect to see the Unix Operating System Unsupported Version Detection (33850) plugin to flag hosts running RHEL release 7.6 and below. Also, these releases of RHEL will no longer appear in the output of the Unix Operating System on Extended Support plugin (66293).
