Microsoft Releases Out-of-Band Advisory for Several Flaws in Autodesk Filmbox Library (ADV200004)

On April 21, Microsoft published ADV200004, an out-of-band advisory that addresses several flaws in specific versions of Microsoft Office, Office 365 and Paint 3D due to the integration of an AutoDesk library.

Microsoft’s advisory follows AutoDesk’s own advisory, ADSK-SA-2020-0002, which was published on April 15 to address multiple vulnerabilities in the FBX Software Development Kit.
